Showtime Apps, SHO.com & Digital

Challenge

As Showtime moved into digital delivery the need for smart, branded products exploded. This included over-the-top digital services, mobile apps and second screen apps that needed everything from concept and strategy to app design and promotion.

Solution

Apply Showtime Brand framework to app concept and design. Then develop and roll out an effective awareness campaign for all product types. A multi-step, multi-year creative campaign that started pre-launch, built awareness and educated the viewer post launch and eventually targeted specific demographics based on content and features.

The Outsiders

Image spot kicking off the launch of a new marketing initiative for the service. Produced with the Showtime Creative team and The Mill. We invited the viewer to join us inside the Showtime programming.

Digital Experience

We helped to develop the user experience and look and feel for Showtime Anytime on all devices as well as the relaunch of Sho.com for all devices. The goal was to let the beautiful key imagery lead the viewer to the content they wanted to see.

Live Streaming

When new features were added to the Showtime Anytime service, we produced new promotions targeted to specific demographics. This spot was created with Psyop in order to promote the live linear streaming feature, one of the first added to an OTT app, a feature that is important to the sports fan.

Sho Sync

Sho Sync was a second screen viewing app for Showtime programming. Users would get access to trivia, polls and info on the stars as they watch the show. We were involved in the educational and promotional aspects of the service.

Showtime Anytime Launch

We produced this launch spot along with The Lab. The goal was to evoke the user interface in a fun and dynamic system. Originally used to launch the service at TCA, this look was eventually turned into a toolkit for use in quarterly promotions.
